“What do we do if they recognise us as soon as we go in?” asked Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa before, disguised in wigs, glasses and false beards, they played their prank on the twenty-plus eight-year-old children. When it comes to putting yourself in front of such a demanding audience, every detail counts, although the makeup work was so careful that the riders were able to play their role to perfection.

After the pair deliberately failed some basic sums, the pupils began to suspect the supposed experts. “I was so nervous about making sure that they didn’t recognise me, that I even did one of the sums correctly without wanting to!”, confessed Márquez at the end of an encounter that those in attendance will not forget in a hurry.
